Guymon Adams (solo project) -
Myspace Page | Purchase on iTunes

As a life long D.I.Y. musician and an artist with a particularly broad range of musical influences, Guymon Adams expresses the more somber side of his tastes by blending elements of goth, Southern rock, country, Mariachi, folk rock, and the occasional dash of metal. Major influences for this project range from Clan of Xymox, the Cure, Nick Cave, the Magnetic Fields, and Human Drama, to Johnny Cash, Calexico, and rising New Orleans artists such as the Happy Talk Band.

Working with a universal theme of heartache, resentment and redemption, Guymon Adams combines this full spectrum of styles with a twist of dark humor in some cases, resulting in a very passionate performance and a unique blend of genres.

God's Little Toy -
Myspace Page
| Purchase on iTunes

Note: God's Little Toy went on indefinite hiatus after leaving New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, August 29, 2005. Since that time, many things changed. A number of possiblities linger in the wings to this day...... The following is the last updated band description....

Born from the broken streets, decaying structures and seemingly hopeless poverty of New Orleans, LA comes God's Little Toy. D.I.Y. ethics mix with outspoken social and political views to form a new standard by which hardcore and metal bands are measured.

Never afraid to push the limits, God's Little Toy seeks to re-define their chosen genre by incorporating the diverse musical tastes of each member, creating a sound as unique as the individuals that make up the band. Combining elements of metal, old school thrash, punk and deathrock, GLT creates a volley of sound that can at times be as dark and sinister as it can be uplifting and hopeful.
