I can’t believe how much hell I’ve had trying to straighten out weird username crap with Google lately, but after some fanagling, some synching of shit, and some creative spelling, i finally got my Youtube shit more or less fixed… God damn, close enough, whatever, I’ll take it! Hahahaa!…

Just finished writing a new draft of my so-called “Bio”… Hit my ABOUT PAGE to check it out…

Man, what a weird trip that experience always is… I seem to do this once every couple of years while re-assessing my current game plan with my career, as well as more personal aspects of life. Since I don’t consider myself to be some great publicist who can crank out a slick bio full of quick bullet points, nor do I consider myself to be pursuing any typical version of “success” in my music or business career, I just kinda let it rip… it’s like meditating on your entire life in chronological order, and is strangely rewarding by the end of it.

Obviously, that shit won’t fly on a one-sheet (whatever that means these days), so I’m gonna need to find a good writer soon to help me there – but damn, was it a liberating exercise… Hmm, some backwards version of “quantum thinking” perhaps… (?)

If you’re a fellow artist who’s questioning your own success or failure, I would actually recommend sitting down in a nice chill undisturbed environment for a couple hours and giving this sort of a mental / psychological exercise a shot some time. Just start typing (or even better, hand writing) it all out for yourself, even if ya don’t ever wanna publish it like i did (friggin’ attention whore musicians, lol), just try it for your own entertainment and personal insight… It’s a rather humbling experience, and hopefully it will leave you with a better balance of self-confidence over the ever present self-critic.

Happy 2012 everyone!! Just wanted to give a quick update about the podcast and stuff…

I was hoping to have already done way more episodes by now, but I know it was a particularly hectic holiday season for everyone I guess. Or maybe my podcast idea just sucks, i dunno. :P Whatever the case, the concept is being shelved for now, for a few reasons… Mainly because I’ve approached a crossroads of sorts with my career, trying to make some tough decisions about what I really wanna do with my music next, and I made something of a promise to myself to get back into professional studio production in the near future (because i totally geek out on it)… also considering the very real possibility of trying my hand at band management (that’d just about round out my resume, hahaa!).

Additionally, as an entrepreneur, I am currently conspiring with the universe and a few close associates to make a few new possibilities become a few new realities. One gnarly thing in life at a time dude – only so many hours in the day, and I rarely sleep as it is, haha!… SO, All this nonsense in mind – I guess I’ll start up the podcast again if/when my various musicians friends express an interest in it and as schedules permit. The studio’s set up for it whenever, but in the meantime, I guess I got other shit I need to do – we’ll just play it by ear (a recurring theme).

I want to make a point of posting more blogs here on my site in the coming weeks and months… Stay tuned, and please be sure to follow me on Twitter and Facebook… oh, and my Reverbnation page too, duh… Here’s to everyone having a slammin’ 2012, whatever we all end up doing (just do it out of love)!
